Buy a domain name with traffic. Deduct purchase price (as determined by you and your accountant) as an expense for the purchase of an intangible asset. Send your precisely targeted domain traffic to appropriate sponsor. Begin to collect paychecks from sponsor(s). Continue to collect paychecks for as many years as desired. When needed, sell domain name and (if held for at least one year) sale price will be taxed at only 15%. Sorry my friend . . . but tell me what business you can buy, that you can sell for more in the future, guaranteed.

In addition, who says that the "business" you purchase will succeed? Maybe you lose money running them, and go bankrupt? There are a ton of expenses in running a subway shop (or any business).

A domain name with traffic is PURE profit. The only expense is the renewal fee of $6 a year. Your only worry is getting to the bank to deposit your affiliate check. YEESSS!!!!!

Believe it or not, many GFY'rs have no clue about domain names. I also would guess that most people who do know, don't actually believe. That is proven by the few serious domain buyers out there.

I am talking about domain names with natural type-in traffic. No matter where they are . . . you should get them.

The people who really understand what is going on will convince the owners to part with nice domain names using cash.

Everyone else will just continue to flail on the web scraping up crap traffic and trying to convert.

You mean you gotta find suckers that will sell their names for less than 3 years worth of revenue? If not that, buying such domains can get pretty pricey. You'd be better off catching drops at snapnames for 60 bucks.
