    Chris Wilson's Bond Revoked and he's in jail

    This was on the www.freechris.org website when I got home:

    In a move not suprising to some, Chris? bail has been revoked, and he has been put back in Jail. We don?t have a lot of details at this time, but apparently none of the motions were heard in court, and despite Chris not residing in polk county, or having porn on NTFU, the bail was revoked anyway

    He didn't get his hearing concerning if the content is, in fact, obscene and has been denied his First Amendment right of Free Speech. This judge's actions appear to me to be inconsistent with standard legal practices.

    Help Chris out and donate a few bucks.

It belongs in the bible belt. I know a ton of people move to Florida every year from places up north or out west, midwest - whatever.

                                                                                  The people that live and control Polk County are backwoods country bumpkins. They are living in different times. The church controls the local goverment. This has been proven time and time again with various cases brought against people regarding so called "obscenity".

                                                                                  First case? BeckaLynn... and iFriends chathost that was arrested and dragged through the mud for fucking her own cunt on camera from the privacy of her own home. A call to the ACLU, and a visit from Lawrence Walters later... boom...

                                                                                  Then the MARRIED couple that was fucking on cam at iFriends - got nailed for the same shit. Lakeland, FL - guess what county? POLK!

                                                                                  Just in recent days, people wanted to set up their own organizations Christmas scenario... light, manger, Star of David, etc... they wanted a $500,000 liability insurance policy taken out prior to letting you put your shit up? Why?

                                                                                  Because they want to control EVERYTHING IN THEIR COUNTY!

                                                                                  The ACLU stepped in and got them to drop the manditory insurance policy citing that it was ridiculous... FOR NOW!

                                                                                  There is not an adult book store in Polk County, nor can you rent a XXX movie there (without getting it underground).

                                                                                  I guess my point is:

                                                                                  Given the track record there, why on fucking Earth would you deal with porn or anything adult related if you reside there?                                                                                               I do not know the specifics of this case...but usually the way the system works is...

                                                                                              One is arrested by law enforcement.

                                                                                              The legal reasons for the arrest are presented to the Prosecutor.

                                                                                              The Prosector goes over these reasons and looks for two things...was the arrest legal...is there sufficient evidence to go to trial with the expectation of obtaining a guilty verdict. If he thinks this criteria is met he then officially indicts.

                                                                                              An arraignment hearing is held before a Judge. At this hearing the defendent is read the charges against him/her and asked to enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. No evidence is presented at an arraignment.

                                                                                              At the arraignment the amount of bail is established and if bail is granted the judge may or may not place conditions with the bail and a court date is set.

                                                                                              If the defendent lives up to the condition of bail and appears for his court date...then the trial will begin and motions by the defense and/or prosecutor can be heard about the evidence in the case. It is at this point that the defense can challenge the evidence.

                                                                                              It is my understanding that this fellow did not live up to the conditions of his bail thus his bail was revoked.

                                                                                                          The Prosecutor has already determined that he broke the law and that is why he was charged. If he was charged in Polk County and his bail was set by a Judge in Polk County it does not make any difference where he moves to. Polk County retains authority.

                                                                                                                                                          3. Not taking the site down

                                                                                                                                                          1. He is former law enforcement so he will have it easy in jail.
                                                                                                                                                          2. The judge is now really on his side.

                                                                                                                                                          He should have never gone on TV and looked for publicity, stupid move. Keeping the site online, also a stupid move. This will drain him financially, he will not be able to defend himself on all 300+ counts, he will go to prison. Case closed.
