I agree... do it right the first time. It promotes repeat business and you have less stress about people getting pissed when shit doesn't work...

same here, although its rare in this day and age that people go the extra mile for you, its nice when they do though.

Mostly seems to be small companies who go the extra mile for you and surprise you as they want you as a customer for life, where big corporations just want your money and usually offer you a shit service/product with the only surprise of how much money they are charging you.

i actually learned this in business class but did not pay attention to it till now... "the solutions you put in place today are the problems of tommorow" it was a big article from one of the popular business journal. I am really starting to be more carfull about patching shit up quickly and instead I try to find solutions that will work in the future.
