    Business ThePornTourist is misleading (don't deal with)

    Hey All,

    I am not going to judge myself, i will be direct about what happened.


    ThePornTourist offered a spot on his website that get 70% traffic from USA
    As he say:


    i bought a link for a big price, just because of the traffic.

    after 2 days i checked the traffic and then i get this, 4 times indian traffic compared to the usa traffic:


    I complained to he he denied that he have that indian traffic, similarweb shows that.
    He refused to show his GA

    I asked for a refund he refused.

    He kept saying your domain have the problem you are blocked from usa and more of that.

    I don't want problems, if I can get the service as promised i don't need a refund.

                      In this case, a person is attempting to slander my name and brand due to their own confusion, impatience, unwillingness to understand the situation, and a toxic lifestyle.

                      The moment I responded to his objection about traffic quality, I noticed that his domain was blocked in several countries. As a result, he was not receiving the necessary amount of traffic from the required countries. I suggested that he set up a proxy domain or give me time to look into the situation, but this person preferred to make a show of it.

                      I was ready to give him additional free days for the link placement, but he chose to go and call me a liar. He then started trying to convince me of a story that I had promised him an "army of US users" (I believe this is called gaslighting).

                      This entire situation could have been resolved peacefully if he had just been patient.

                                          the only thing i'll insert into this debate is 2ip.io is not a valid method of determining uptime.

                                          i ran a test and checked the server logs. they are doing HEAD requests, not any GET or content requests.

                                          if you block HEAD requests from unknown sources then you'll show as down from everywhere. a normal user on a browser will not run a HEAD request before connecting. only services and hackers do that.

                                          they are also using a bunch of spam infested hosts, so they might be blocked on many servers. hell i use their main site host for streaming media, but i block any other traffic coming from them lol

                                          if you really want to resolve that connection issue, which seems to be the main counter argument, you need a legit testing service.

                                              I am not going to waste my time listening to insults.

                                                                          We spoke again, and I offered him a solution, but all I received in response were insults and threats. This guy is lying here, claiming that I made no offers on my part.

                                                                              I would not remove the link. And for your own reputation I dont understand why u dont want to share ur stats so at least he can see if the % of total traffic and incoming traffic line up. I mean

                                                                                                              Refunding the remaining days is the right thing to do if you are running a real business.

                                                                                                                  After we talked, we came to an agreement — he sent the refund, and I will remove the thread as promised. I also want to clarify that he didn’t scam me; the situation has been settled fairly.
