Pre-XMas TOUR Design Special!

Ok, I have a week before I leave for the Christmas break, and I'm offering 2 reality tour designs for $500! (thats $250 each!)

250 bucks for a half page ad and copied and pasted empty template. Hmm.

Hpa: 75 bucks
Empty frame: 25 bucks
Copy and pasting that frame: 150 bucks

GREAT deal compared to most what most designers ask yes. But that doesnt mean what im saying is true. The other designs are making even more profit. Its an half page ad and a copied and paste small empty template. That is worth about 100 bucks. Nothing more.

Basing your opinion on market prices I would agree. However, the price for design work in general is ten times cheaper than it should be ON AVERAGE. Just because you know a header costs X and a template costs X you assume that is what pricing should be based on. Go get a logo designed for a mainstream offline company and see how much you pay. Same for a website template. The adult industry rapes designers day in and day out and it gets worse every year.

How much time does a designer on hat type of sites (considering they partially re-use certain parts of previous tours they did)? give or take 3hours/tour (not counting their board surfing time here but actually work): 250/3= $83/hour. I don't think that's rape but a fair price.

You try to go to any advertising agency with those skills and you're out of there within the hour. That's the whole thing: everyone seems to think he/she is a designer, but there is a reason why there are schools were they give photoshop classes.

3 Hours per tour? This may be true for mediocre designers who rush their work.

A reality usually tour takes me a day or two to complete.
