    XBOX 360 Takes A Big Chunky Diarreah SHIT In Japan

    Glad to see Bill doesn't have the WHOLE fucking world sewn up yet I wonder how long until these systems get over here to the US? I wonder if this is a loyalty to Sony play by the Japanese? Anyways, here is the story:

    TOKYO, Japan (AP) -- Microsoft Corp.'s new Xbox 360 video game console got a lukewarm welcome in Japan on its debut weekend with fans buying fewer than half the games available in stores, a market researcher said Tuesday.

    Microsoft, which started selling the Xbox 360 in Japan on Saturday, is trying to break into the world's second-largest video game market and challenge the longtime dominance of Sony Corp.'s PlayStation.

    Microsoft sold 62,135 machines over the weekend, or just 39 percent of the 159,000 consoles it is estimated to have shipped to stores, according to data from market researcher Enterbrain Inc.

                                      Microsoft knew that in Japan peeps would not be buying them as in the rest of the world, it was the same with the previous xbox , but overall , they sold many of them , enough to be pleased about it ,

                                                  It won't be long until the hardware is cracked. I'd say 2 months tops.

                                                                                      Everyone saying that PS3 is going to be the shit really hasn't been paying too much attention to things.

                                                                                      From the developers standpoint, the ones making the games we're all going to be playing, the consoles are equally as powerful...but Microsoft has the advantage in a few areas. One being that it's a much easier environment to develop for. Another being that they have the XBox Live network which is about more than just playing against your buddy online.

                                                                                      This is just phase two for Microsoft. They still have a lot of ground to cover and don't expect to win the war with this battle.

                                                                                      PS3 will be a great system and there will be some great exclusive games. There will be one here in my house too, but I'm willing to bet the XBox360 get's more hands on time...just like now with my XBox and PS2.

                                                                                      My XBox360 is still sitting in it's box unopened. I'm still trying to catch up on all the great XBox titles that have come out in the past two months.
