High payouts from programs that shave are only artificially high because that's what attracts webmasters who don't know any better.
At the end of the day, those $40 pps sites are still only paying out $15-$25 a join if you factor in the joins or clicks that magically dissappear.
A bad converting program doesn't pay. That's a given.
But all things being equal wouldn't you rather promote a company that you know is going to give you $25 or $30 bucks a signup rain or shine instead of one that says they are giving you $35-$60 but they are shaving clicks in a way that really gives you $15 one month and $25 the next?

i guess it really doesnt matter to me then. i usually know how much $ i should make off so much traffic. i usually will send to both sponsors but send more to whatever sponsor can make me more $. the only ones i truely trust for not shaving is the ccbill only sponsors. i only have a few really good sites i promote thru it.
