yeah i made it thankfully, how come you couldn't make it to your aunt's? whatever the reason, keep in mind that the funeral is mostly to help the living, as far as your aunt is concerned, she knows she's in your thoughts and that you paid your respects wherever you were.

i sorta think that in a way cancer was a little better than a sudden accident might have been. It helped to know what was going to happen a couple of years ahead of time (they were right on too, they predicted 24 months and she lived 24.5) and it allowed me to visit her a lot while I still could. knowing is weird though, it's so crazy to have a dr put a future "time of death" on a person....
