Queen (with Paul Rodgers) - opinions?

Queen is touring with Paul Rodgers (in place of Freddie Mercury) lately...just wondering if anyone's heard how they sound together, and whether the concerts are any good.

The tour heads to Toronto early in the spring. Thinking of checkin' it out perhaps.

    Any opinions...thoughts?

Sounds an interesting mix - Would have thought Paul Rogers was a bit too bluesy for Queen - But, I would pay to see him and them.

Oh and I have heard them on TV and he has a great voice but I just keep wanting him to sing 'Feel Like Making Love'.

I wonder if they'll do any "Bad Company" tunes too?

Id like to see Tim Staffel back as lead singer. He was the one who brought in Freddie when the group was still called Smile. Freddie was the very best but Tim was the original....

Agreed. I remember the day Freddie passed and thinkin' there's no way anyone could replace him. Paul Rodgers is good and I've always liked all the old Bad Company and Free stuff, but I have a tough time imagining him doin' some of the Mercury classics.

btw - Brian May says they'll be coverin' some of the old Bad Company hits on the Queen tour.
