    Has anyone else noticed big majority of affiliate programs are

    based in Canada? Especially Montreal or Toronto. WTF?

    I think more than half of the affiliate programs are based in Canada!

    Is there some sort of incentive to being based from there rather than in the US or is that just where these guys happen to be from?

    Not that it's a bad thing, just something I never noticed until i joined GFY.

          The U.S policy may have something to do with it.
          but we have always had a large porn presence.
          The Capital Bash in Ottawa last month had 123 people attend and I believe the GFY Xmas party in T.O had over two hundred.

                                                              Thats because typically in december it's -45 farenheit in toronto and quebec in december. So they all setup offices in canada knowing the employees will come to work because it's to fucking cold to do anything else.

                                                              Whereas in Miami and San Diego it's still 80 degrees and the employees are still calling in sick to have a 6pack and a few babes on the beach.

                                                              It's called freezinomics.
