    FREE TUBE SITE SCRIPT! $1,000 give away NOW!

    I'm going to give away 20 permanent licenses to tubecgi in this thread.
    That's $1,000 in free scripts!

    That is, if webmasters want them of course.

    This script comes loaded with 2000+ flash videos from:

    occash
    slickcash
    perfectgonzo

    Just plug in your affiliate code and click submit!

    You can then use tubecgi to "strip" video from hosted galleries to get more videos.

    * This a tube site without waiting for surfers to upload video.
    You're not going to check all the videos to see if "crap" without the "ra"
    is uploaded so why even bother.


    I'm doing this to get some better beta testing and input, so thanks in
    advance. The webmasters with these licenses will get all future updates to the script at no cost.


    RULES:

    1. download the script http://tubecgi.com/beta/tube.zip

    2. install the script

    3. Bump this thread with the domain you installed and a email to get the
    license (you can email me if you don't want to post an email)

    4. I don't want to give free licenses to someone who doesn't install the script and the script reports the installed domain. So install the script before you email me asking for the license.

                                                                                                          - unzip the folder on your pc (remove "preload_banners" directory)
                                                                                                          - ftp to your server
                                                                                                          - upload the entire tube folder to /cgi-bin
                                                                                                          - chmod 777 your domain folder
                                                                                                          - chmod 777 your cgi-bin
                                                                                                          - chmod 755 "main"
                                                                                                          - create a folder for banners at your domain root, chmod 777, upload banners from preload_banners folder

                                                                                                          then go to yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/main

                                                                                                          from there the script does the other install steps for you.

                                                                                                                          I didn't make a lot of screen shots because you can download it and run it for absoutely free for ten days before it warns you that the free trial is about to end.

                                                                                                                          Don't waste time looking at screen shots. You can build a full website with the thing in 30 minutes.

                                                                                                                                      As long as your server has PERL and htaccess the script should run fine, but I will not guarantee that since I did not test on other platforms.

                                                                                                                                                                      If your domain is "some.com" then there should be a folder named
                                                                                                                                                                      "some.com". chmod 777 that folder.

                                                                                                                                                                      If you still can't do it then continue to install the script because your host could be setup so it will work anyway.

                                                                                                                                                                      If the script still doesn't work then you need to change hosting because you should be able to write to any file on your domain, otherwise no auto-update
                                                                                                                                                                      scripts around will work for you.

                                                                                                                                                                                  I have dozens of domains sharing one ip on virtual hosting and although there are .com folders, I get error 550 CHMOD 777 does not work on those folders. Nor can I upload anything at all to the root of any of my ___.com folders , it fails every time. Is this a limitation of the way they have the virtual hosting setup?
