About the new law:
Under the new law in Sweden, which comes into effect on July 1 2025.
It will still be permissible to pay for pre-recorded material, but it will be illegal
to influence the content – such as paying someone to perform a sexual act.
This could include, for example, recording a pornographic film that is sent to the person who pays.
The law also prohibits promoting or financially exploiting someone to perform a sexual act remotely for compensation, the television channel reports.
