    "The Invasion" - This is how you know a story is really good...

    Hollywood just can't help but "remake" it over and over again... This latest incarnation with Nicole Kidman will be the 4th time now and I suspect will truly fuck it up... I still think the 2nd one with "Spock", Jeff Goldlum and Donald Sutherland was the best... That movie scared the bejesus out of me oh so many years ago... the dog was what did it for me... had a hard time sleeping for days afterwards.

          The biggest sign of trouble for this flick is that it was filmed last year and they went through and re-shot a bunch of scenes...that almost never bodes well...

                  He means 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers'. Yes, the second one with Donald Sutherland was by far the best.

                          I hear there are no pods in this version, but yes we all know it's just Invasion of the Body Snatchers...once again.
