How the fuck come the Chinese who don't get anywhere near the millions and billions of $$$ the U.S. and Europe's medical people get can come up with a successful vaccine program?

Simple, if you fuck over people with medical shit in China they behead your ass.

If this vaccine finishes the final run and is ready for mass distribution we should arrest our medical people for stupidity.

I was just mentioning how Asia is kicking our asses in medical breakthroughs in another thread as Thailand is using stem cell technology to treat heart disease when this story broke about AIDS advances.

There is more money to be made in medication than an actual cure, it's as simple as that. I used to get pissed off about it, but seriously, there are too many people in the world, some just need to die.

American Medicine is not about making cures or vaccines its about treatment.

Treatment only and even the treatment programs in Western Medicine suck balls.

For example, Hepatitus or somthing like that in Europe is curable with simple herbal medications while in America the treatment is something completely different. The American Treatment is not a cure but a pricy process that goes on for years until the patient dies.

I forget the whole thing but it goes along those lines.

The US government is too concerned with making sure that all these pharmcudial companies keep making billions of dollars and keeping money coming in.

It wouldn't suprise me at all if the US did have cures for a lot of our medical problems but why would they tell you the cure. That means our population goes up and income goes down.

Take two groups of people...preferably in an area or group of high occurence (prostitutes). Give them the drugs. Send them out into the world. Test them again 5 years later. One group will have a higher percentage of people with HIV.

Read the article a little harder. It said that the vaccine was looking good in phase 1. Phase 1 means that you inject people with the vaccine and nobody dies. Phase 2 & 3 are were people actually test immunity.

A vaccine will never be created for a virus that mutates like HIV does. Last I recall reading it's nine thousand to the power of four. Just like cancer vaccines in the works now, they only target the most common strains. The one for cervical cancer recently comes to mind. Anyways once the commies tell us how great it's worked in their prison slave test subjects, whose going to take an injection that contains a strain of AIDS ? Anyone interested in the origins of the virus should look at the second Polio vaccine. The second guy who failed and whose name I can't recall this moment seems to have been the source.

Actually, the first phase of testing simply consists of watching the effects of the vaccin itself. The problem with a vaccin is that it could, if the virus hasn't been weakened enough, infect the person receiving it with the real disease.

After that, they'll probably look at the direct effects on the immune system, and only after that would they go into large scale (thousands of people) real world tests.
