    Slaughtering Cats and Dogs for their fur...

    Larry King is doing a show on it on CNN... It is gruesome, some guy just skinned a german shepard while it was alive and it continued to blink and twitch for 20 minutes. Now they are lassoing cats in a crate and strangling them from the top of the cage......

                          Seen it earlier. Fucked up! For the record, for the most part I care more about animals than I do humans. Personally, I would like to find every one of those fucks that have skinned dogs and cats for fur...and slowly murder each and every one of them. Sin City style...let the animals eat them alive.

                                                              I think the most amazing thing in the show was the statement the Chinese Embassy issued. That was a major step forward that they are at least acknowledging it now.

                                                              The EU needs to ban the importation of fur products from China. That will be a big help.

                                                              Unfortunately you've got a lot of farmers that don't have much compassion over there. To them dogs and cats are just a way to make money like any other critter. They don't care if they suffer in the process. In fact they believe the more they make the animal suffer and have fear the better the meat will taste so its a fucked up way of thinking. That's why you see them skinning the animals alive to induce as much pain as possible before they die.

                                                                          Killing dogs and cats happens every day and to the same extent in almost every country in the world , the chinese are resourcefull enough to find a way to make some money from the overpopulation of pets.

Animals release adrenaline into their blood when frightened, and increase blood flow to the muscle tissue when struggling. While people have been slaughtering dogs and cats this way since before the discovery of hormones, modern science does seem to provide a plausible basis for the practice.

                                                                                  It seems to me that fur from wild animals, regardless of the country of origin, comes from animals that typically suffer an agonizing death. Some deaths may be faster than others, like clubbing baby seals is pretty quick if you're good at it, but if you want fur from humanely killed animals, you should skin the dogs and cats that the humane society kills.

                                                                                              i had to turn it off after I saw some tool nonchalantly kick a cageful of cats off of a truck bed where the fell about 6-8 feet and smashed on the ground. The cage was jammed with cats.

                                                                                              watching that was like getting kicked in the stomach.

If they were killed in a humane way and treated correctly before hand I don't really see the problem. Having cat fur in china is like having leather shoes over here.
