Yeah, but back then they did it almost totally with lighting and hard darkroom work. Photoshop sure makes that stuff easier to do. I am particularly a fan of the idea of the appearance of some white light specifically on the legs, it really brings the eye to her legs and feet without anyone really seeing the highlighting.
