cool I had a wigger idea just now, in a 5 spoke rim you make a cut into the face of the stars large enough to mount neon tubes. then make a high tech looking piece that attaches to a spinner hub and wraps up and over in the center (to avoid wheel travel at the path of least resistence) kinda borg looking style and then there ya have it.... neon sign spokes.... hell put a tiny micro processer in it and control from the dash to change shapes and patterns as well as colors like vegas signs.... not practical, I KNOW.... but neither 250k rims. (and I bet if ya build em theyd be used in a video SOMEWHERE...
