So, this past Saturday night, I went out with my now ex lady for a few drinks. A good time was had by all and we left the bar in a good mood, laughing and cuddly.
I was hungry and wanted to go to Taco Bell cuz that's all that was open near us. All is fine as we are exiting the drive thru and then she starts spouting off about being from Compton and knowing what real gang members were like and everyone in Sac was fakes and wanna be's.
Cool, whatever... No clue what you're rambling about but, shut the fuck up and go home, I dont want to deal with it.
As I exit the vehicle and start to walk around it to go up my driveway she slams her tuck in gear and guns it striking me on my left side. At this point I'm yelling and trying to attract as much attention as I can. She stops her truck, jumps out and charges at me trying to stab me with a pen, I avoid her first few swings but then she catches me in the left chest under the pectoral muscle. She grabs another pen out of her truck and charges at me again.
At this point Sheriff officers pull up to the scene and cuff me. I have always been told to never say anything other then my name and DOB so I declined to give a statement. I am then placed under arrest and taken to county jail where upon being booked they see the stab wound on my chest and defensive wounds on my right arm.
Fast forward a few days to my 1st appearance in court, where the three neighbors who came out while I was yelling and watched the entire event gave statements to the DA. All charges against me were dropped and I was given the opportunity to press charges against her. I declined at this time but have until July 28th, 2008 to do so.
I am truly saddened by all of this, I don't really know what to say. To me this girl seemed special, for those of you who met her in Vegas or Tahoe at the shows, you would probably agree with me she was a great lady. I don't know what it was that caused her to flip out like she did, or if she has a history of doing so. She has blacked out on a few occasions and not known who I was or where she was at. I hope she seeks help.
As for my wounds, I will heal up nicely, its a small hole in my chest, no stitches required, just a butterfly dressing to keep it shut, plus 22 lacerations to my right forearm. A few bruises down my side and a slight limp. This is not the 1st time I have been stabbed but the 4th and I hope for my sake, it's the last
I do now know for sure that I have shitty taste in women, and should probably let someone pick one for me. I have also now lost my appetite for Taco Bell, which has been a multi weekly staple in my life since my teen years.
