Well she was discovered at some showcase by a record co. and they signed her..

Her song, "Tim McGraw" is what got her on the map and went to the top.. She wrote that one in her first year of high school..

Yup Im in Nashville area and was pretty heavy in the industry and went through the whole crappy biz side of the music industry. Just recently me and my one writing partner got a break. He got his first single on an upcoming album. So that will do well for me also. You have to have a hit to get headway down here, or write with someone who does.

I took about 3 or 4 years off from it, and just started getting back into it within the last year or less.
