    Hosting in Panama?

    Does anyone know any good Panama hosting companies? I have a client who is looking for a good offshore hosting spot.

    I used to work with a company called Silicon Canal or something like that. They were good but I'm not sure if they are still around

              The connection with Mars is a shade on the weak side at the moment

              If the choice of Panama as a hosting location is for US citizens/corps to avoid US law blah - forget it. There has been an MLAT (Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty) in place since late 1995.

                      More of idiots than porn - and can be a problem when producers step over the line and cause offense to the public etc - same as anywhere.

                      Hosting is not a problem with adult content - as long as it does not include obviously illegal material (CP blah).

                      Attitudes to sex are fairly liberal - eg prostitution is fine as long as the "traders" have periodic health checks. The main problems come from tourists/visitors who think they can do stuff which they would never be allowed to do in their home countries.

                              Yeah i'd be looking more towards Europe for hosting. A lot of downtime with Central and South America hosting companies.
