Director, Program Planning & Strategy
Playboy Entertainment Group (PEGI), the entertainment division of Playboy, is seeking a skilled manager to join our TV programming team. This individual will work with the V.P., Worldwide Programming to continually develop and execute program and promotion strategies across multiple networks. Strong analytical abilities, supervisory skills, and significant experience with scheduling and traffic database systems are essential. This position is located in Los Angeles, California.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement on air strategies to drive network distribution and viewer satisfaction.
-Oversee program and promotion scheduling staff to ensure proper execution of on-air strategy.
-Partner with On-Air Promotions to seek out and identify promotional opportunities.
-Collaborate with Playboy Program Production, Program Acquisitions and On-Air Promotions personnel to establish and maintain delivery timetables.
-Collaborate with consumer and affiliate sales marketing divisions to create on-air strategies that increase distribution.
Experience:
* 5+ years experience in television programming, scheduling and/or traffic.
* Strong knowledge of scheduling and trafficking database systems.
* Demonstrable ability to provide insight into programming opportunities and track record in execution of them.
* Knowledge of the television development and production processes.
* Prior program scheduling and/or departmental supervisory experience.
* Must have creative bent, with strong communication and writing skills.
