What is it with people? I've noticed lately that when I say "thank you" I get "huh huh" or "no problem" what ever happened to good old "you're welcome" It's become a pet peeve of mine!

"No Problem" is acceptable to me. It's the "Yup" or the "uh huh" or the no response at all that bother me. Manners are gone.

I can handle the "no problem" because I take that at face value. If they say it was no problem, then I didn't ask for something impossible.

Im a "no problem", "yeah sure", "forgeddabodit" or "anytime"
but its pretty much the same thing no? Usually said to people that are thanking you for something that really wasnt a problem for you to do. I think Your Welcomes are saved now for the biggies, when the thank you was really well deserved

I couldn't care less what people say to me if I say thank you. If they say something, hey at least they said something at all. I say no problem when people thank me, because it makes it seem like it was less of a hassle for me to do whatever they asked me to do. If I said, "you're welcome", I feel like they'll think I had to take time out of something I was already doing.
