    Adsense alternatives?

    I'm looking for personal recommendations for adsense alternatives.

    Right now, I'm using Adsense, Adengage, and Adbrite.

    My Adsense CTR is 0.7% and I'm making about $2.60 per thousand impressions. Is that good or bad... can't really tell coz nobody is giving any specifics on their stats.

      you would need to be a bit more specific with your question .. too many variables. What are you promoting? Is it a very competive market? Are you competing for highly targetted keywords? What is your CPC?

                  Specifics are as follows:

                  The site is a new humor / entertainment site. On it's second full day, it received just over 5,000 hits and made $0.3X with Adsense. On the dawn of the third day, with 500 hits thus far, I've made $1.3X with a CTR of 0.7% on Adsense.

                  I optimized my Adsense ads on the 2nd night hence the improvement in CTR and earnings.

                  What that said, are there any other ad networks that are similar to Adsense and pay nearly as well? I am using Adbrite and Adenage with limited success.

                  Adbrite: 1 click, $0.05
                  Adengage: 2 clicks, $0.09
                  Adsense: 4 clicks, $1.3X

                  Does anybody have any opinions on Clicksor, Chitika, etc...

                      adsense is your best option right now. google is very hot, and people are dumping money like its 1999.

                          500 impressions = $1.3X, so I just doubled the impressions giving me 1000 impressions = $2.6X. Is that the wrong way to calculate?
