I researched mine myself. Though I have always wondered if I fucked up somewhere. I have 6 Kanji symbols on my wrists. here are two of them.
P.S. They are upside down in this pic. does that make a difference in their meaning?

i have one between my shoudler blades in red that says "sacrifice" which i got after i got back from iraq - however i had a friend from japan confirm the translation before i got the ink done.Comment

actuallly tribal tattooing is no different... in many cultures certain tribals mean certain things... we as caucasions have no idea as to what the meaning may be... but we get them tatted on us anyway because the design is cool... for example you could be a guy, and have a tribal that denotes you as a mother or something else feminine, lol.Comment
