Whenever i fly out west, Southwest does end up being far cheaper even with a stop.

Yeah but it sucks, theres likes two plane changes on some of those. Total travelling time of 8 or 9 hours!!

I am right about flying into Fort Lauderdale airport right?

heya lubna,
most airlines don't go direct to ft lauderdale from LAX
delta does have a direct and prices aren't too bad, but times suck

u can also sometimes find thru alaskan airlines a direct flight

if you want to fly into miami, you have many more options

ft lauderdale is MUCH closer to hollywood
Miami can take about an hour with traffic on the 95

I just went to their website and they have no flights, only ones operated by American and those are 1800 round trip.

i've often flown into miami instead for internext. sometimes the difference in cost was 1st class to miami or coach to ft lauterdale for the same money.

A few of us are going out early on the 2nd from LAX to Ft. Lauderdale on American Airlines, not too pricey from what I remember.

And... it was great speaking with you in Vegas - definitely one of my more memorable conversations at the show
