Perhaps.
But if change is eventual then at least BORG seems to be handling it the right way.
- Corp's are not allowed to have any signs.
- Their name can't be displayed anywhere.
- No logos.
- No brochures or other literature.
- No business cards.
- They can't even talk about their products.
To see the man powered by solar energy during this time of heightened awareness of climate change/global warming isn't such a bad thing. A giant windmill is going to help provide power too. Google is going to create a 3-D map of Burning Man. (The top brass at Google are all long time burners).
If allowing corp's to come in this year is indeed an experiment, then it seems (so far) that it's being done in a way that makes sense and doesn't interfere with burner culture.
