anyone in hollywood FL that knows the area well? i need to talk to youuuuuuuuu

I live in Hollywood. Argetango (Italian/Argentinian)in the Hollywood Circle is a little bit upscale and nice and has good food, but it is more of a date place than a business meeting place.

Other than that there is Prime Steak in Hollywood Beach, or you can go west to the upscale places at the Hard Rock Casino.

If you are talking at Internext, try the restaurants in the Diplomat.

Can't think of a lot of great places in Hollywood. Nikki Marina across from the Diplomat is decent and you can walk there. Here are some places within 20 or 30 minutes.

Madame's - North Miami Beach. They have a drag show, it's fun.

Runway 84 - Ft. Lauderdale. Great Italian Food, family owned. Lots of people from the NE. Check and make sure they're open. They close for a month in the summer.

Shula's Steakhouse - not fabulous, but good. It's in a fun area in Ft. Lauderdale. Afterwards, check out Automatic Slims - great bar!

The Forge - Miami Beach. Great food, biggest wine cellar in S. FL that I know of. Must try souffle.

BED, Opium Gardens, Touch, Tantra or Pearl - trendy, pretty good food, fun for people watching. If your crowd wants to go nightclubbing this is a good way to get everyone in easily. These restaurants are all South Beach clubs after dinner.

The Capital Grille - Amazing food. Snotty, hard to get a reservation and pricey, but really amazing food. In Ft. Lauderdale close to Riverfront.

Yup the Steak house at the Diplomat is mighty good, but far from cheap.

The restaurant in the Diplomat is fucking awesome. Some of the best lamb chops I've ever eaten (thanks Jim from Amature Allure).

I tried Mortons,spent close to 1K for 5 of us, was'nt too impressed

It's defenitely the worst one of them all. You should really try Jackson's
in Ft Lauderdale.....as that's the best one of all
