Seriously imageman... Can't wait for the shit to hit the fan. The longer iBill trades and purportedly is responsible for client funds - the less there will be left for webmasters and creditors.

There are also other possible legal (criminal) issues, but got no sympathy for that side.

Got nada clue about US corp laws, but can say that corps in other countries who are insolvent (read more creditors than debtors in *truth*) have a legal responsibility to cease trading or officers can be thrown in a jail cell. Ain't studied the accounts of iBill (tho doubt they are accurate), but can't see a sufficient level of *real* debtors to even begin to cover the deficit. Computer equipment (assuming it's not leased) is worthless. Bank "complications" are borderline "assets" and could be argued either way. Then we got IBDI who can shuffle paper to paint any picture they want.

Only my but I'd trust a liquidator to collect any assets and dispense these correctly than officers or "shareholders" of iBill or IBDI.

One relevent lesson here is... a third party processor is, in a way, acting as a banker in that they collect client funds and disseminate this, and take a percentage in costs. The moment they take liberties in eating into client funds is the day they are doomed.

Again.. only my - *every* third party processor should have a mechanism in place to protect client funds. Otherwise we are just going to see the same old problems recurring where webmasters end up at the losers each time.

Several companies do have protections within their models - some major companies don't. They are worth avoiding - irrespective of their good track record so far.
