My real/legal first name is David; I selected my last name from a list of Hollywood actors--I saw the name Bob Cummings, checked the San Diego phone book to insure there was enough popularity to it (it had 150+ "Cummings"), and since my real last name started with a "C", I took "Dave Cummings" :-))
