because most affiliate programs barely report their true numbers. all the companies that gather your social but dont ask for a w-9 says a lot.

I replied to your email, but there are a few companies who require it, most don't. ARS & Cams.com for example require it too. Not sure who else does.

They did not require me to. Serious Gold is the ony affiliate program that has even asked me for it.

If you have a company name and a Tax ID you don't need to. However we will report it for you, its just requested as part of our paper trail

Our CPA makes us require anyone that lives in the US that makes more then $600 a year to fill one out. I don't know why... we just do what he says. I've also had to fill them out for lots of other programs, but not all of them.

We are incorporated, and provided a Tax ID number. I just logged in and verified that was how we signed up.

and this goes for all walks of life.

i have been self employed and contractor for all kinds of things in my life and this is the case no matter if its adult industry or contractual bartending.
