Yep... so true. Think the word cactus came from a Greek word for thistle?
BTW... Thought you may be excited to know if you are working out of Malta at the moment, - there is a "Cactus and Succulent Society" who have, or did have, monthly meetings at Melita Street - Valletta. They obviously concentrate on the horticultural variety.
