obviously some bitter retard is mailing a webmaster list with our url(s) in order to get other webmasters such as yourself to bring it to the boards, raise trouble, etc.
why would we be mailing our a url for our affiliate site?

We ask that anyone who has received these mails to forward them with the full headers to [email protected] so we can investigate and prosecute whoever is responsible. We are sorry for any issue this may have caused you.
This is totally different then what happened two months ago. At that time someone tried to fake it to appear as if an affiliate was sending out, and they targeted mainly known childerns e-mail addresses.

We did not hire someone named NOFX, we hired someone named ED. As I have said many times how he conducted himself prior to working for us is on him, how he conducts himself while employeed by AMC is a different story. We do not base or run our company on what GFY says. What he did he has stated numerous times he was doing to get a rise out of people and cause some drama on GFY, which is what many people do often.Originally posted by Mr. Soul

And as you say it's not any of my business what you do, then why is it your business what I do, or how we run AMC. We hired him for his skills and what he offered, we did not and do not need the approval of GFY as to who we hire.
Do you have actual proof NOFX is a racist asides from posts on GFY that he has already stated numerous times were made to get a rise. Do you have pictures of him in a klan hood going to lynch someone? Do you have pictures of him handing out info on how he backs Hitler?
And for the record when we hired NOFX and people were "pulling links" and "never going to send us traffic" that was mainly board pissing. A lot of those people ICQ'ed one of us personally and said they were not pulling links, others who would never send traffic currently are, and people who "just pulled their links" were never sending traffic to begin with, more so some of them were and are not currently affiliates.
Let me ask you this since you only do business with people you agree with, before sending mail to a sponsor do you check and make sure that no one they employ has a history of racism, or anything else you do not agree with? And also every person you mail wants the mail you are sending and is happy to get it right?Comment

For the record, I got spam, (which is very rare) and it amused me that one of the spams held the link directly to the affiliate program, rather than one of their sites.
Also for the record, there's no way that my email would've been 'sold' or anything else by AMC, because I am not an affiliate of theirs.
I don't need to try to get AMC in trouble, people will make up their own minds about whatever they want, to be blunt, popularity contest or not, NOFX has said some things WHILE employed by AMC that have likely gotten them in enough trouble, I don't need to try.
Further, as 'lame' as any of you may think the original post may have been, at least it was work related, which is a fuckload more than can be said for 95% of the other threads on this board.Comment
