You guys insisted on having it on a Thursday even though more then half the people said they wouldnt come out on a weekday. and then at the end even Marc said he wasn't gonna come to it.

Marc goes to very little he doesn't do anything in day to day operations so why would he need to be there? That's the benefit of semi-retirement, you don't have to do any work The function was supposed to be a biz luncheon not a weekend boozefest, hence the planning for a weekday.

Depending on when it is, we might be able to make it. Also don't forget about those of us that live in the middle of the state. Not everyone is from SE Michigan. If you try to make it centralized we would definitely be there.

Anyhow I am from the Mt. Pleasant area (Now) lived in Novi most of my life.

Get togethers can be fun if people with 15 months in the biz were not setting themself up as the spokesperson for the state. Talk to Karups or someone with some clout. I'd throw another party here if I thought some of you could get your heads out of your ass long enough to have a good time and learn to seperate biz for pleasure. Thing of it is, us few in the state that are serious and actually do this for a living dont have the time to entertain a bunch of kids. We do everythng we can do to stay away from the boards, let alone, invite the boards to our house or out to eat. I think alot more of us seriious guys would be more intersted in networking and hanging out with some of you when you real to treat tis like a business, instead of a lifestyle. Clearly, theres people in this thread this does not apply to, but others need to start getting it.

That being said, I'll host and a barbaque this summer (early june) at the lake house. Models, booze, Boats, Jetskis, food, the works. Whomever wants to come can come, hater or not. Cept for beemk... haha I'll have my neighbor BIll drowned his ass.. haha j/k.
