    Business License.

Sorry if this has been answered. It appears the Search is disabled. But what kind of business license will I require for some TGP's? Is it a Services? If so which service?

    Thank you.

I dont have a business license....didnt know you needed one...
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

I have a few corporations.. but you don't really need them to run a site.

tax wise its considered self employment

actualy maybe its diffrent in the US

ive always listed it as self employed, kinda like a lawn service type thing, dont technically need a license...though im sure if you are bringing big bank it helps

You dont' need a corporation, or company etc for sites. Only purpose of one is if you are making decent money and don't want to pay the self employment taxes. Talk to an accountant in your area.

Learn the pros and cons from a tax accountant - there are benefits of a corp and there are benefits of sole proprietor........ neither of these affect the biz license.

If you ever plan to sell anything you will probably need one for your vendors or distributors. Also, for the biz license, check the rules in your state, some states do not require them for anything online. Others do (due to sales tax considerations if you are a paid site).....

                Good Luck!

You don't need a business license unless your "business" is producing more than $15,000/yr (this is California law i'm going by)...then you will need a "Sole Proprietorship" if it's just you running your business. If you need more info check out the IRS' website good luck!

It all depends on your location, for sure.

yup.. in Ontario ,Canada you don't have to run a biz.. no matter how much income
but .. its better to have a corp .. you only pay 16% income tax and almost everything is an expance so you pay a lot less then that
