And then drink "Cold Season" Hot tea by Yogi Tea (accept no substitutes, imho - I don't).

Or keep up with the Hot Water an d Honey - that'll work too - maybe add a slice of lemon.

Don't drink alcohol when you're sick. It's a common mistake - as it dehydrates.

And stay away from casino tables with smokers.

Ugh, my sympathies. I've got a stupid summer cold right now too. I think different stuff works best for different people. I can't stand tea, although a lot of folks swear by it, but I switch from iced lattes to hot ones when I'm really sick. Salty drinks like chicken soup and gargling with salt water (especially with sea salt) are the best for me though. Then again, I like to scratch my throat with salty chips when ill.

Gargle a cup of water with about 4 spoons of salt before you go to bed. It helps.

Sore throat? Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take
1 tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria.

pure lemon juice cures all. I do about 4 shots w/ dash of sugar or honey to take away the bitterness if I feela sore throat or cold coming on. I havent been sick with a cold for so long..I cant remember the last time,and I have kids in school that bring every germ home imaginable.
