            It has its perks being in the traffic management / brokerage side but at the same time it becomes hard to tell if you're enjoying those perks for who you are or what you could do for them.

                                It sucks your not close anymore, sometimes I pick up the tab just cause I know it will avoid some shit......

                                I have a pretty big mix, but my closer friends the last year have been industy folks

                                                You tend to lose your single friends as you have kids, you start hanging out with more people with kids.

                                                You also lose quite a few when you stop picking up tabs

                                                I like the guys in the office, we hang out all day, and go home at night lol.

                                                    Many friends in the business; and, many friends outside the business. Big family, Army unit reunions, school friends going all the way back to elementary school, neighbors, old partying buds, etc.

                                                    I usually don't wear my business on my sleeve unless at the office or at a tradeshow.
