as much as I love firefox, it became a memory monster... using sooo much ram... I used to have 40 tabs open and it was taking 500 ram... nowdays I have like 4-5 and it takes 500 ram.

I have 4GB of RAM in my desktop. I don't care if Firefox uses 50, 500, or 1500 MB of RAM. I won't use anything else as my browser. Fuck IE and all of it's derivatives.

Fling.com doesn't steal your traffic and sales unlike some other dating companies. I promote them, and so should you!

Firefox sucks, every computer I've installed it on, it eventually gets corrupted and you can no longer open Firefox with out errors.. I dunno why so many people like that POS browser.

I use IE and always have and it's been a long time since I've had anything take over my browser. The biggest key is to have active X turned off. That and being smart about your surfing.

I just wish it had tabs..

IE 7 has tabs. But IE will still suck after that release. Trust me.

Avant browser is basicly a version of IE with tabs ... it uses IE... I've heard about it before that's why I didn't wanna use it. I gotta say, it uses way less memory then FF...

Tabs are the only reason I use FF, but god damn it sucks lately! I've had all kinds of problems after the latest updates.

Try a clean install. ie: back up your profile, uninstall firefox, restart, then install the new version. I had about 6 different versions installed over each other, and they eventually got confused, but the clean install put everything back to rights.

Firefox is the best browser. I've tried Opera, but don't like all the extra stuff on the desktop. FF is lean and clean. I like simplicity.

I love FireFox and I love its plugins... :D
I'm just waiting for the alexa plugin...

I use IE only for testing purposes but not to work with.. it sucks in my opinion

you can customize opera exactly the way u want, just delete the stuff u dont need.
U can remove everything except addressbar for example.Just point to the aitm, right click and remove.

just like all the other mozilla style browsers... bunch of news hype then once you start adding the features required to surf the net it turns into shit... IE is better and it always will be. IE 7 beta has tab browsing. go download it more stable than FF. FF crashes to much, i've never crashed IE but FF crashes all the time.
