      That's good news. I've read about other projects on $100 laptops in africa

      Amazing how they ask over 100 euros for just a keyboard with some quick buttons to mail & msn.

                      Virgin and a few other companies tried something along these lines in 99-00.

                      They were basically just for internet use and all of the various business models doing this failed.

                      Cool shit if they can make it work!

                                          heh, it seems like just another way for multinational corporations to rape the less fortunate over with greed while shoving some kind of 'save the world' bullshit down everyones throat. just like the IMF fucking over 3rd world countries by loaning them money and then raping the country of its resources.
