No, you attempted to make a point about how those of use who have never experienced such a tragic thing as having a family member murdered or raped would have a sudden attitude change about the death penalty.
If I were to advocate vigilantism, I would advocate it in all cases. I was only talking about how I may be affected by my own personal tragedy. And even then, I may be wrong, because I would be acting on emotion, and nothing else.
