I've started making blogs on thumblogger because it's so easy. I've been able to install the trade script with no hassle.I'm thinking of buying some yahoo domain to make some blogs from scratch as well. I plan on owning over 30 of them. My question is are their any real problems with using blog sites to make your blogs ? Is it better to have your own domain and why?

host them on your own domain/host. you can pick a domain for the keywords you want, and your blog wont disappear while your sleeping one night (like alot did on blogspot).

always on your own domains if you plan on investing time in each of them, what happens when your se positions or link trades are lost cause the hosted blogs have packed up and left town. See sig to control all 30 of your blogs from 1 central admin panel

Thumblogger is in business for over 1 year now and hosting many adult blogs for many adult webmasters, just use google to find out.
If you still want to put your main blog on your own domain/hosting than you can still use thumblogger, just put a couple blogs on thumblogger that feed your main blog. Great for PR and search engine traffic.
Most blogs at thumblogger are spidered within one day and if you put some work in it you will get A++ quality search engine traffic from all major search engines. Look at google again if you don't believe me

Use your own domain. BTW, if you want your blog to generate SE traffic, the QUALITY of your content (text) matters a lot. Sure, you can get SE traffic from duplicate content but you'd get more volume with ORIGINAL text.Comment
