I did the same thing one year. I was about to go to Vegas but then I decided to go to the DR instead. your travel agent or an online company may have the resprt included with flight as well.
you don't have to book the EXACT same dates as us - but we are happy to have ANYONE who wants to come when we are there JOIN US!
this is NOT a sponsered event - it's a vacation. No planned dinners, outings, etc. We are just going to have fun and hang with friends and do FUN things and relax.

I am going to check and see if I can do this... I definately totally 100% crossed vegas off my list this year, no way I was going to dump near $4000 for a few days of vegas at it's crowded, ugly worst. I stayed one year for the video show and Vegas totally sucked ass. Too many people, no parking at the hotel, long lineups for everything, and scads of CES geeks crowding up every strip club in town and basically wasting everyone's time.
Nope, no vegas for me.
I'll see if DR is a possiblity... who did you guys book with in Canada?

I think it's very sad that you guys won't be in 'Vegas. Makes the show a little less attractive.
