you didn't read the bill, it made alot of lower laws more into felonies, also its focused for northern virginia, if you read the bill it says the money will go towards the roads of northern virginia. You have to pay the fines if your a VA resident. you also will be taxed annualy based on your points on your driving record.

yes it sucks, just don't speed and follow the laws you'll be fine.

all the rich people up here in northern va wont care for the fines its the people in the south who can't exactly afford it. they will be th eones who lose their jobs, goto jail for not paying.

What does Virgina have to do with the rest of the country other than being a part of the United States? That's just 1 state out of 50. That would most likely never fly in a larger state.

#1 - If you work in d.c./nova you can afford a $3500 ticket.....

#2 - These laws will catch on across the entire country within the next 1-2 years, i predict texas & california will be next (based on traffic).

#3 - There are no more than 20 state troopers working on I-95, I-495 at any given time, with millions of cars....if you're not doing over 95mph, you're not getting pulled over, EVER.

If you are doing over 95mph in Northern VA you have a death wish.

#4 - These laws are completely FUCKED & will be struck down sooner or later.

#5 - The only decent/fun place in va is VA beach. Period.
