take my advice. buy an extrenal. i got lazy backing up on dvd, then bam. the comp shop is still running a recovery prog on it, but my hopes are almost gone of saving anythin. when i pick it up it will have an external harddrive.

man, before i took it in i tried everything. it kept saying it couldnt even read c drive , i tried notrtons system recovery disc, it wouldnt even show anything and wouldnt read c drive, so we tried a xp repair still nothing, then put we put in another harddrive to just copy the files, still not there, but i know it didnt get deleted. they are running the big recovery program which will take a couple days apparently. fingers crossed.
