One thing that I don't get is how they raised $430 for the system, but then bought the $299 system and kept the rest. I don't know who in their right mind would donate to such an act when there's charities that'd do a lot more with the money if you had the urge to get rid of it.Comment

I was actually going to do that with my PS2 when I first got it and you couldn't get them anywhere else. I thought it would be cool to make a video of it and put it on the internet, I am sure it would have brought a shitload of traffic to the site I was running back then. I played it a few times first and decided that instead of waiting a month to get another one it would be better to tell people that I actually had one than to smash it for the traffic I might or might not get.
