when my biggest paysite first got associated with my name publically on this board, i came under a fucking huge attack, on several fronts - only hours after it was posted.
i burnt through amost 10K USD worth of extra bandwidth (and countless hours of fixing/monitoring) in the week after that. also had an email spam attack using my url, that had the potential to get very fucking ugly.
fucking hackers and spammers.

I think you missed the point of what I was origionally trying to get at with this post. I've never sceen you attack anyone blindly. That's what this post was origionally meant to be about. All I've ever sceen you do is make intelligent comments backed up with credible data. I believe that one should question EVERYTHING, and it's difficult to question wild accusations made by a blind poster that doesn't back up what he says or let you know who he is.

quiet is much less militant than I am, but it doesn't surprise me at all that he had all those problems once he was exposed. Just look at how things have been lately; spammers coming out of the fucking woodwork. With these 3-post packet kiddies about it feels like you should watch what you say just to save yourself 30 minutes of time on the phone with your host getting your server rebooted.
