Oh come on. Most of these kids didn't sign up to go fight in Iraq. They signed up because they wanted a better life than farming or working at McDonalds and saw the millitary as a way to get there.
Not everyone is born with the same opportunities, and for at least some of these kids, this was their best option.
Remember, it's mostly the poor that join the millitary.
