What is the best thing to do to make money with only 2 hours free on weekdays?

I have a question. As a tgp owner how does making your own galleries work. I mean how do you submit them to other sites , how do you go about getting other submitters to submit to your site ?

Thats depends on how much money you want or need to make. Barring you have no connections or affiliations with a company, you are probably limited to selling something. If you have a product or service to offer, work on ironing out and perfecting your pitch and sales routine. 2 hours a day is 10 a week, and within a week or two you should have it all nailed down and ready for exposure. You are always trying to sell something, if it's not your own things it's someone else's or your skills.

If you don't have anything like that I would say submit galleries or free sites, work on some seo pages or free-sites of your own, hell there are a ton of things you could do depending on your skills and resources. Do you have your own hosting? Are you knowledgeable about how the sponsor you promote best converts? All kinds of variables in play with a question like that.

My number one piece of advice is to DO SOMETHING each day for those 2 hours. And I don't mean browse GFY...lol If you do something each day for 2 hours to move yourself forward in the industry you will get ahead faster than most people here. Attention spans are short now-adays and it becomes difficult sometimes to stay focused. If you can master that and maximise your 2 hours each day you will be fine in no time.

Go here and read at least the first 5 pages , that will answer the second part of your question. As a TGP owner, when you submit to another TGP, you are just another affiliate of another program. Ownership status doesn't meant much at that point. Buy spots and submit passes as they become available and in your budget, those usually give you better results.

Q: When selling a paysite domain along with all its contents, should you include the raw/unedited camera originals to the buyer? Or just the post-edited versions that have been published to the site?

IMHO, and I am nice guy, I would give them the raw material.

The biggest reason is for example if your (current) member area has the pictures sized at 800x600 and they want to provide bigger pics for the site on a re-design, the raw materials will come in handy. Also if you currently only offer your video in .mov format, and they want to offer .wmv in a couple of sizes and .mpg, the .avi files are sure nice to have. I would provide upon completion of sale the site in it's current form, then get the raw materials to them as soon as you can if they ask for them.

Again, this is just my opinion, but I have been on both sides of that debate and it works out well for everyone just to go with that flow.

What should I do with my MGPs and TGPs to make them more profitable?

Income is income. If you are getting wires from a 3rd party biller like CCBill or Paycom the balance of the settled account is what you are wired, so that's income, and must be declared. I think thats what you are asking, but if not let me know and I may be able to get Mark or someone from CCBill or Paycom in here.

I don't think it's any different if you have your own merchant account and do our own payouts. At the end of the day money recieved is still company (or in some cases personal) income, and you will have certain expenses (in this second case affiliate payouts) that will offset your income.

Which webmaster event(s)/convention(s) do you consider most worth attending (and why)?

Yeah that much I know. I need to develop $100-$200 a day and have about $20-$40 a day and 2 hours a day to make it happen. I'm just having a hard time deciding on what to commit to doing.

I am not into TGPs/MGPs but form what I have picked up from here and other boards, the following is a good start...

1. More productive trades.
2. Better raw traffic sources.
3. If you have a decent amount of bookmarkers swap out as many galleries submitted to you with your own using your stats to show you what niche is getting the most productive traffic.

i will try to find a TGP/MGP expert to get in on this one.

Only speaking from my own experience, which is somewhat limited, I would highly recommend the San Diego show, and the Florida AVN show right now. In hindsight I wish I would have gone to the Pheonix Forum, but this year it didn't work out for us both to go.

San Diego - Great mix of people, big and small. More family frinedly atmosphere amongst the webmasters and attendees. Good access to amenities and attractions, pretty decent weather, well organised for the newbie and veteran alike.

Florida - Because the show is limited to one main area, namely the Weston, there is a dense population of all kinds of people very close to each other, and that spurs easy conversations which lead to some good business dealings. An event that large, in such a small place makes it difficult to not meet people you may miss or not have access to in a place like Vegas. You are bound to run into some of the biggest names in the industry in an elevator, in the pool or hot tub, or on one of the on-site restaraunts/bars, so it's a little easier to make that initial approach IMHO. Also I think the weather and hotel layout make it a more relaxed atmosphere in general. I have always met a lot more people and made more qualified business dealings in Florida than most of the other venues.

Phoenix Forum - Again, I did not go this year, but Arika did. And from what I heard back from her and read on the boards it was an awesome show, especially for someone in our niche or similar to the teen niche. Having CCBill and Lightspeed go all out for the attendees and leaving no detail un-attended to is the icing on the cake.

Other shows that seem to do very well, but that I have not attended for one reason or another are the WA West (last weeks show), WA Amsterdamm and many of the local gathering/mini-events thrwon around the country.

Any show where people can get together and relax, while still maintaining a business sense about them and meeting people to forge new relationships and revenue streams is a good show IMHO.

AVN Vegas does not qualify IMHO anymore.

Well I'm figuring every weekend i'll get 14 galleries designed (7 movie, 7 pic) and use my 2 hours during the week to do submissions, and gradually grow partner accounts and do paid spots etc.

But it doesn't look like I'll be doing anything new so I don't have much confidence

Am I just being a bitch? Should I just buy some mgp and tgp databases and gallery designs and get on with it?

Good luck, and remember, doing right by others opens the door to them doing nice things for you later. Even simple little things like giving them copies of the raw content will go a long way for you both in the future.

This is an excellent start, just don't give up in 2 weeks because you don't see the return you would like right away.

If you want something new, but use the same skills you have now, switch up the niches you use. You can do it by market demand or new sites or whatever.

Example;
Week 1 - Teen
Week 2 - Tranny
Week 3 - Interacial
Week 4 - MILF

By the time you get to the next month, week one and maybe 2 will show your results. Did you do well in one nich and not the other? Next month cycle in 2 weeks of the better results oriented niche. Become the expert in that niche and build on it. If something new comes out hit that week hard with the fresh material or site. If the market is pulling back and going elsewhere, adapt and run with it.


Bitch is a bit harsh, I would lean towards impatience and frustration because yo may not be seeing the returns you would like. We've all been there. Stick with it and make no expectation of yourself that you cannot meet and exceed. Make simple realistic goals and bust ass to break through each one of them.

When your budget (profit only) can allow it, move toward custom galleries and content.

Remember, this is not a sprint, it's a marathon!

1. I have FREE content feeds, not leased, to give away to paysites, freesites and adult date sites to add to their member pages. The sites are paid on the chat upsells so it is a win-win situation. Rather than trying to meet people one IQC at a time how can I get the info out to a larger captive audience?

2. Once they agree to add our content it takes about five followups to get them to go to our site to register and then when they receive our link codes it's another set of followups to get the links on the homepage?

This is a tough one, for a few different reasons. The biggest 2 things you have to worry about with a product like this is traffic leaks and branding complications and confusion. Since you did not directly reference those 2 things, i won't get into my opinion on why they are an issue.

If they are branded to you, see what I wrote above. Nothing is "FREE", there is always a trade-off for something, and paysite owners try to avoid upsells usually when the fear they will lose a member to another site or service. So before i can properly address this question I'd need to know more about your product and how hard you push the upsell on your side.

As far as talking to people on ICQ, if you are not comfortable with that, you'll have problems nourishing relationships in this business. Look for other more direct approaches to contacting people int he event ICQ is not working out for you. Use ICQ as a way to get a name and number or an e-mail address. If you can make personal contact with the person do so as soon as possible. On the phone, at a show or gathering, mail them a nice little gift with a sales pitch, whatever...

Also look at advertising on the different boards and resource sites. Do you do link or banner exchanges with other programs and webmasters? Do you have an advertising budget for magazine (XBiz, Klixxx, AVN) or online e-mag. exposure? Many many free and cheap ways to get the word out, you just have to be creative!

I was in the same boat a lot once with your #2. What I did was set up several pages (3 I think) all with different levels of technical information on them. Depending on who I was dealing with and there technical knowledge, i pointed them to a page once the deal was done that walks them through every step of the installation procedures complete with detailed text and screenshots of the product being added to the member area. When you do this, it leaves no questions (or at least very few) that they put off doing it because they need answers. If you provide as much information upfront for them to draw on, your follow-ups will turn from asking them to follow through, to asking how much they made!

Jim here is an example page I did for one of the sites I work with, do something like this and present it to your client at closing and soon after as your first follow-up..

This one I did for CamSpot and it has helped a lot. Once the webmaster knows the steps and process involved, they tend to work through it much faster.
