I'm sure this is just a very rare case and that it could happen with any sort of doctor, but i think in some instances it would still be wise to be check by a health care professional in a modern office with the old fashion tests and checkups at least once or twice a year!

Good luck to you!

These type of mistakes happen all the time in the regular health industry ... we all know stories of people on the wrong medication, people treated for wrong conditions, diseases overlooked etc. And yet we all still go to a doctor when we want a symptom to go away ... I find at least natural medicine tries to find the cause of the problem.

Its like anything, you have to find the right specialist for you. I've been lucky with mine & I consider him to be part psychic, part magician.

A collapsed colon is pretty damn serious ... if *any* specialist didn't immediately send her to hospital when she first showed those symptoms that's pretty poor form.

I don't think its the naturopath's fault she has an untreated collapsed colon ... i'm interested to hear how she goes. She's in for a very serious operation and a lot of discomfort & pain. Poor old duck
