Frank, mate either you or someone else believe in God or not, Its really not my business. What I was trying to say is:
If we are not believing anything strange, supernatural whatever just because we have not seen or experienced it, then we have no right to say its untrue/unreal because we were not there at the time when that incident happened, e.g parting of sea by Jesus.

Smokey, sadly I can only answer some of your questions. And you will be going to ask me for proof for some, which I might not be able to provide. So I don't touch them.
I have a question for you though, no offense intended.
Imagine you were born like 3000 years before. And someone asks you who is your father. You tell him the name of your father but he says what proof do you have?
What would you answer? There was no DNA test 3000 years before. The only way you know your father is 'trust' you have on your mother, that she told you who is your father.
You will not be able to provide proof of your father to that person, but does this mean you have no father or someone else is your father? Of course No, you were right about the name of your father you was just helpless in providing solid proof.
But yes, If someone asks you a question today .. you can happily offer him DNA test and everything will be cleared up.
Moral of the story: Everything cannot be proved at all times. Different things was proved at different times and we are not the final generation on earth.
Someone might be able to proof God with solid and logical method after 1000 or 10,000 years.

There are two options:
Option 1) There is a God, He created us and He is going to ask us what we have been doing on earth.
Option 2) No, there is no God. No one will be asking what bullshit we have been doing.
I am with option 1 and Mr. X is with option 2 .. Now there are only two possibilities.
1) Mr. X is right and I am wrong.
2) I am right and Mr. X is wrong.
OK, Lets assume first possibility. Mr. X was right .. and there is no God and no one will be going to ask us any question.
Result: Mr. X wins. Mr. X looses nothing. I loose nothing.
Now assume second possibility. I was right .. and there is a God and He will be asking us about the life He gave us.
Result: I win. I loose nothing. But what about Mr. X? Hasn't he is all in loss? He wasted his life in false beliefs?
Friends, I am not trying to preach you anything about religion. I just want you to remain
open to options. Do not stick with one belief that you
think is right.
Like I never said you are wrong. May be you are right, there is no God ... I will be still in peace if there is no God.
But what will happen if I was right, and there is a God and He will be making a charge sheet based on what bullshit we have been doing here on the earth.
So Frank, either I believe in flying elephants or not, it will not really going to affect me.
But believing in God or not, is critical and
