    No offense, just curious.
    Do you really hate when white folks call you "nigga"
    I mean, you use that word all the time, and its being used like 50 times in every rap song. So, its getting kinda hard to not use it.....


    So, whats the deal with that? I want first-hand information

                              As the black emissary of this board, the answer is yes, we hate it when white people say that. Why? It was used by "chez whitey" as a form of hate and moral killer. The black people of today still hate the word. True black people might call each other "brother" or "sister" (yes, like the Asians do in those karate movies) but not n1gg4, n1gg3r, or any other form of the word. Ghetto blacks, thugs, and wannabees use it amongst themselves but true blacks still think it's a derogatory word.

                                  it all really depends on the people... not the black people...the people in general, I have a black friend that we throw remarks back and forth... when were verbally horsing around anyway... I dont just nigga thia jigga that to em, just the same as he dosnt whitey and honky me... (same goes with my mexican american votos)

                                  I wouldnt run down to my local thug hangout to find out.... but i sure as fuck wouldnt tip toe around the subject if it came up...

                                  I used to use the whole Derogatory term ALL THE TIME... but heres how I felt about it... I used it in a sense of a bad word... such as fuck or shit... I said nigra... but I stopped because i dont want to have to explain myself to people when they are offended or dont understand ... and i dont mean the black people, I NEVER said it around them... but that also made me think... even though Im not using it and meaning it in such a term... iF everyone thinks it and I dont say it around the offending party, then its really no better and im basicly saying black people are bad... same as the word gay....

                                  I stopped saying that in a bad sense too since I have quite a few lesbian and homo friends... Ill say something is gay and they look at me like, "What, thats bad??"

                                  so... just find a different word ... homie

                                              Some people are offended by what they consider "racial slurs". However, when you have rap stars singing about "nigga this" and "nigga that", well, at what point does it continue to be a racial slur? If blacks call each other "nigga" or what not, is it really a racial slur?

                                              Same thing with gay men. They call each other "fag" all the time, but it's still a racial slur.

                                                  there are blacks (african americans if you want to be politically correct) and there are nigggers. niggger is an attitude, not a race, and i don't like niggger one bit. as a matter of fact i think it's safe to say I HATE NIGGGERS, and that is not an attack based on race whatsoever, it's an attack upon the attitude. if someone still thinks i'm an ignorant racist, fuck them, they don't know shit. it's much the same way i would say I HATE ASSHOLES, and if you can't see that, you're an ASSHOLE...

                                                                              a good move towards elimating the word altogether would be if they quit using it themselves! where the hell are the positive black role models? all anyone gets is "gangsta rap" anymore really, and fnnier is that they happily market their albums to white kids, all the while spitting "nigga this, nigga that". sure the argument s that nigga and nigg*r are different words, but as far as i'm concerned, it's more just unedumacated folk who can't pronounce "er" properly. thats why i laugh when anyone calls ebonics a language, it's nothing but an entire dialect made up solely of an uneducated execution of the english language...

                                                                              all this i STILL wouldn't mind, if it weren't for the fact that for whatever reason a large amount of people STILL hold some sor tof resentment for white people...

                                                                              People just need to keep on fuckin till we're all the same color. That's the only way racism will end, and by then we will have evolved a new mehtod of discrimination anyways...

                                                                                                      American English, brought about by uneducated European settlers, many illiterate, many non native English speakers, fucked up the Kings English and now it's become the world standard. And the retards that regulate it won't agree to have it rewritten so it can be better teached, easier learned, properly spoken and standardized worldwide.

                                                                                                                                                      You can't say that black/rap pop stars represent the black community any more than you can say Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton represent the white community. Most black people I know don't go around calling each other "nigga" and most white people I know don't run around getting drunk without panties every night.

                                                                                                                                                      Saying that all black people call each other "nigga" is just another stereotype on the pile I think.
